Slipstream could generate a warp portal in the fabric of space and ride the resultant warp-wave akin to a surfer riding a wave. Slipstream could use this ability to travel to virtually any point on Earth at faster-than-light speed, and can ferry others through the portal with him. While on a wrap-wave, Slipstream's vision narrowed to a pinpoint focus directly ahead of him to better allow him to safely transverse it. Davis is also an excellent surfer.
