A hunter born on the planet Centauri IV in the late 30th century, Yondu was captured by the alien Badoon and taken to Earth. Together with Vance Astro, Charlie-27, and Martinex, Yondu formed the Guardians of the Galaxy to repel the Badoon invasion forces and protect life across the galaxy.
